Unsolicited advice from the cheapness guru.

We always hear the word 'exfoliate'. What the hell does it mean and why should we do it?

Exfoliate means:

Main Entry: ex·fo·li·ate
Pronunciation: (")eks-'fO-lE-"At
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): -at·ed; -at·ing
Etymology: Late Latin exfoliatus, past participle of exfoliare to strip of leaves, from Latin ex- + folium leaf -- more at BLADE
transitive senses
1 : to cast off in scales, laminae, or splinters
2 : to remove the surface of in scales or laminae
3 : to spread or extend by or as if by opening out leaves
intransitive senses
1 : to split into or give off scales, laminae, or body cells
2 : to come off in thin layers or scales
3 : to grow by or as if by producing or unfolding leaves
- ex·fo·li·a·tion /(")eks-"fO-lE-'A-sh&n/ noun
- ex·fo·li·a·tive /eks-'fO-lE-"A-tiv/ adjective

Why do we need to do it?

If you want your skin to look healthy and radiant, exfoliate regularly. By removing the top layer of dead epidermis cells, you will make your skin appear smoother and less wrinkled.

The cheapest way to exfoliate is to do it yourself at home. Here are the things that you will be needing should you want to exfoliate:

Baby Oil
Iodized Salt

Directions:

1. Go inside the bathroom/shower.
2. Take off your clothes.
3. Put oil in your body.
4. Rub the salt in (provided that you don't have any open wounds). Be sure not to over do with the rubbing cuz it may actually damage your skin.
5. Wash it off.

You may do it once a week. The effect would be softer and smoother skin. And you can track you budget as well since it's cheap. ;-)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I watched Constantine with Leo last wednesday night. I wasn't that much impressed. First of all, I totally hate watching films about exorcism and shit like that. I hate the distorted image of the possessed. When I leave the movie house, I leave and take home the disturbing image with me. Scary shit, lemme tell you. At least Leo was there and it was bearable cuz he laughed at the way I screamed my friggin' lungs out.

High Points of the movie:

1. The little Philippine Flag at the start of the movie.

2. A little girl was being possessed and she said something like "papatayin natin sya!". Nice, demons now speak Filipino.

3. Keanu showing his abs. I didn't know he has a shadow of a six-pack. Yum!

4. Nice special effects.

Low Points of the movie:

1. Where is the damned kiss!? The director was such a tease! I wanna see some liplocking, tongue tangling action! There are several almost kisses, but no actual kiss! Pakdatsyet!

2. I hate freakin' demonic creatures! The images creeps up on me when it's dark and I'm all alone!

Overall Rating: 3 screams

I'll only watch this once. This is not the kind of movie that I'm gonna add to my dvd collection (If I had one). It's good for one time viewing and screaming but that's it. I totally loved Keanu Reeves, though!
